The Flag LT1/LT4 boost-ready shortblock is built to handle up to 1500 horsepower depending on configuration. The crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons are fully forged. The shortblock is assembled with ACL tri-coated main and rod bearings, and coated camshaft bearings that have been hydraulically installed and burnished for perfect camshaft fitment.

-OEM LT1/LT4 Casting (1200hp rated)

-OEM L83 sleeved with corrected block geometry and aftermarket sleeves (1500hp rated)

Main Fastener Options:

-OEM 15mm bolts

-ARP main studs

Connecting Rod Options:

-Summit Pro LS/LT connecting rods with ARP 2000 bolts (1200hp rated)

-Manley H-Tuff H-Beam connecting rods with ARP 2000 bolts (1800hp rated)

Crankshaft:

Forged GM LT1 8 bolt crankshaft

Pistons:

CP Carrillo 10.7cc dish forged pistons with .200 wall tool steel wrist pins

Ringpack:

Mahle 1.5mm/1.5mm/3.0mm

Bearings:

ACL tri-coated main and rod bearings
