What is the Best LT4 Camshaft? 2026 Gen 5 LT4 Camshaft Shootout
Welcome to the 2026 LT4 Camshaft Shootout, this is an engine dyno test comparing eight LT4 PD blower camshafts. Our goal is to share all of this LT dyno data with the community, and to help further develop camshaft profiles for the LT4 that may be missing from the current market. This information will be invaluable for owners of LT4 engines/vehicles, and for performance shops to be able to recommend the best parts for their clients.

Flag Motorsports built Gen 5 LT4 made 915RWHP/850RWTQ at 15psi with the factory 1.7L supercharger on E60. Let’s dive into the build details.
Corey Pratt's Offroad 1400 Class 6.0L
Corey races offroad in the 1400 class, and his old and tired 4.8 had been holding him back. He wanted to upgrade to a 6.0L and ensure it was built properly to last for many seasons to come. We used this engine to develop our offroad 6.0 truck package, and we tuned the engine once it was installed. Corey went on to take first place a week later at the Glen Helen Freedom Cup class 1400 race!

It’s the third year attending LS Fest West for Flag Motorsports! This year we had more cars than ever, and got to compete in the drift challenge in our shop C6, coined the “Flagship”. The Reiss Racing crowd brought out seven vehicles to compete, with many of them running Flag powerplants!
Flag Motorsports at Holley LS Fest Texas 2023
After a fantastic time at Holley LS Fest West, we decided to travel to Texas for Holley LS Fest Texas 2023! This time we had three Flag Motorsports powered vehicles at the event, including Evan’s C6 drift Corvette, George’s 1970 Camaro (affectionately called BumbleZ), and Sabotage C10.

For the second year, Flag Motorsports has participated in Holley’s LS Fest West at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This year, we had four Flag powered vehicles on premises; including a 2008 C6 Corvette, a 1970 Camaro, a 1973 C10, and a 1971 Camaro.
Michael's Road Race LS3 Stroker
Our client Michael came to us as a referral from a local restoration shop we frequently work with. He has an autocross/roadrace 73 Camaro with full TCI suspension and had just blown up his stock junkyard LS1 at Chuckwalla the weekend before he got in touch. We discussed several options, desired goals, power numbers, and parts before settling on an LS3 stroker.
